DSLR Cleaning—When and How
One
of my worries whenever buying gadget, big or small, is maintenance. So when I
canvassed for my very first camera, which was a point and shoot, my first
questions was the availability of service center of the brand. And when I
finally bought one, I clean it every time I used it. I would use q tips to
clean the view finder and a cotton piece of cloth to wipe any dust off the cam.
But having a DSLR is a bit different because of its complexity, thus requires a
lot more effort and understanding on how its parts work to avoid any problem or
damage on the part. It surely has more dials, knobs and rings that whether used
or not can allow dust and moisture to penetrate.
