Wedding-Perfect Ideas for You
Getting married in January? That would be the most
brilliant thing to do in welcoming the New Year! Why not if you will finally be
one with the person you can’t just live without in a new house, new life, New
Year! But getting married, even to the person you are dying to be with, is not
an overnight decision. Unless you don’t care about tradition and making your
lives together as a must-remembered event, you have to think about a lot of
things like the proposal, the wedding venue, the dress, the rings, the
reception, and of course the much-awaited honeymoon! Too many, right? But don’t
worry, I love weddings and all about it so I am going to help you come up with
ideas and here they are:
The proposal
You have probably seen the best and the worst proposals
ever but you can still make one that is all you and be remembered for its
creativity and be passed on to generations. One of the things that I am
thinking about is something that will need a lot of your courage and faith in
love. Why don’t you think about one thing that you have not (and hate) to do,
say a weakness or so. Your loved one must have accepted the fact that you won’t
do that something for whatever it takes, and then out of the blue (and for the
sake of wowing her on your proposal) you just did it. Say you hate heights and
then you proposed at the top of the highest building in the city? That will
surely take your girl’s breath away, literally and abstractly saying.
The wedding venue and reception
You want a wedding that will be remembered for all times?
Then choose a venue that will be remembered through generations, say an antique
church or a protected reserve. Just make sure that you can transport your
guests to that one place you wanted to exchange vows with your loved one. A
good advice on this is to keep your party a small number to prevent the chances
of mishaps and trouble come the wedding date and reception time.
The honeymoon
A-list weddings require top-notch honeymoon getaways, so
choose one that will surely make your first days together so memorable and
tranquil. Make sure that you have enough time to spend on your honeymoon
especially if this is going to be out of the country. You don’t want to end up
touring destinations in a hectic schedule and ending up in the bed to rest for
another extended day of tours. That is not quality time together, isn’t it?
Honeymoon should be your time together, enjoying moments together and not just
exploring the what the world has in store in a rush kind of way. Do tour the
new place you are vacationing at but do not do it for the pictures alone. Make
sure that the two of you are doing it in celebration of your togetherness, now
and forever.
