Marriage is Not A Mystery
''That
isn't even on the radar. No kids, no marriage, none of that is about to pop
off. Why some people get married, is a mystery to me.'' These are the words of
Chris Brown, the young great rapper who have become infamous for beating R&B
singer Rihanna on their way to an award events night sometime in 2009. This is
sad for me or at least the “Why some people get married, is a mystery to me”
part because I love people who respect the sacrament of marriage. Also, this is
so wrong for a guy who has just picked up a relationship just recently with a
person he hurt emotionally and physically.
Of
course, I have no reason to question why Chris Brown said these things because
in the first place it was Rihanna who was too eager to jump into the
relationship again and even proudly talked about appearing together for the
Grammy’s on February 10. It is just too sad for me because I liked them both
and I like them being together again for they just proved that love can conquer
all but with Chris clearly talking about not believing in marriage, I am
thinking if this getting back together is all for show.
In
my own belief, I think a man who truly loves someone should feel remorse on anything
he has done to this person in the past. Part of that is trying to make up on
everything that they may had lost or given up. And the way I see it with Chris
Brown, he doesn’t even give a crap on how Rihanna will feel about what he is
saying.
Or
maybe I am just a helpless romantic who thinks that every person who tries so
hard to win a relationship again with a person he or she has just hurt should
show a lot of remorse.
